Access Promo Overview

1. After opening the app and signing-in**,** navigate to the profile overview screen (fig. A).
2. Tap the ****“Create In-App Promo” button to proceed to the my promotions overview screen.
3. Each promo summary card will display the following information:
   • Promo Title
   • Promo Message
   • Promo Expire Date
   • Delete Icon
4. Your in-app promo will display in an ascending order by expiration date (fig. B).
   • Note: The header section displays the number of total in-app promos listed on the app. Temporarily, this will display all instances of created events: past, current, and future.
   • Note: Only the current and future in-app promos will be seen by users who are viewing the deals screen on the app. All past events will be automatically hidden from users when the date/time expires.

Creating An In-App Promo

1. After tapping the “Create New Promo” button from the my promotions overview screen, you will be redirect to the create new promo screen (fig. C).
2. The layout includes 2 field inputs and 1 date/time selector buttons.
3. Input Field 1: Promo Title – Give your promo a simple yet attention grabbing title (fig. C).
   • Due to various screen sizes on different mobile devices, we encourage vendors to reduce characters and modify long titles if applicable. i.e. “Grand Opening Kettle Corn Sale” could be reduced to “Kettle Corn Sale”.
4. Input Field 2: Promo Message – Provide an engaging description for you promo (fig. C).
   • It is recommend that you include clear and important information regarding the promo to reduce any confusion. i.e. “Sunday Only”, “One Per Purchase”, “Limited”, etc…
   • Emojis can and should be used to help illustrate your promo. i.e. If your promo is only available on a day when at HHHS, emojis that may help illustrate could be “🐶🐱🐰”.
5. Selector Buttons: Date & Time – Set your in-app promos expiration date & time (fig. C).
   • Note: Selecting an expire date/time is critical for your promo to properly display on the app.
   • Tap the “Select Expire Date & Time” button to open the modal feature. Once opened, you will be able to scroll and select the Day, Hour, Minute, and 12-Hour clock.
   • Tap “Confirm” text once all the mentioned date/time options have been selected. Tapping the “Cancel” button will discard all selected date/time options and close the modal.
6. Note: The Date & Time Selector buttons will render a slightly different modal depending if you are using an Android device vs an iOS. However, the functionality works all the same.
7. Your in-app promo is now featured on the munch promos screen for all users to see! (fig. D)

Editing an Existing Promo

Currently only a delete option is available. Future improvements will include an edit in-app promo option.

Deleting an Existing Promo

1. On the my promotions overview screen you have the option to delete the in-app promo by tapping the “Delete” icon - location on the lower/left of the event summary card.
2. A delete confirmation modal will render on the middle of the screen, asking you to either “Cancel” or “Delete”.
3. If delete is selected, the in-app promo and its information are gone forever. So please be sure to review the information on the modal pop-up (fig. F).
   • Review the title to ensure its the correct event you wish to delete.
4. In-app promos will automatically disappear from the my promotions overview screen and on the app (if current or future).
   • Note: A great use case would be if you have to cancel a scheduled event beforehand where the promo was a feature. After deleting your event, a user will not be able to see that promo on the munch promos screen.

1. Creating in-app promotions and deals is an optional add-on for all mobile Munch Members. If your membership does not include in-app then vendors should see the “Your account doesn’t include this feature” screen.
